Boxing champion Floyd Mayweather has just announced plans to launch his first-ever NFT collection. This will be before his groundbreaking match with famous Youtuber Logan Paul.
Since the beginning of the year, NFTs have risen to become one of the most popular forms of digital advancements. Originally launched to be incorporated into the Gaming, Real Estate, and Art Industry, NFTs have spread vastly.
Sports brands and others have now been adopting the concept of NFTs, and this has made prized digital collectibles one of the most highly sought digital pieces of 2021
The boxer’s pieces will feature honorary moments from the career and key life legacies.
The NFTs will feature multiple forms of artwork, videos, and some very rare pieces. The collectibles are a product of a partnership between Ironbend, Reality Gaming Group, and Zytara Labs.
The collection will consist of five pieces, including one particular rare piece, as stated by the founder and CEO of Zytara Labs, Al Burgio.
The boxer explained how he has, over the years, achieved many dreams of his and hit many milestones. His NFTs were a symbol of his legacy regarding his career and life in general.
For now, neither the blockchain nor the marketplace platform has been disclosed by the boxer or any of the NFT creator partners. However, Burgio did mention that the information would be revealed before the NFTs debut.
The release of the NFT collection will be followed by the match between Youtuber Logan Paul and boxing icon Floyd Mayweather.
