New gaming token, Atari falls a few days after they ended their token sales.

The latest gaming token built on Etheruem experienced a fall of 70%. This doesn’t sound or look fair to the token holders. However, the Atari team is taking too long to make a statement. One of the latest tokens built on Ethereum, Atari, experienced a 70% fall in price just a few days after selling. This token was pictured as the next big gaming digital currency, but what recently happened is a big mishap.

Major Updates

  • The token sale was on bitcoin.com and was concluded just two days before accepting the new token trading.
  • These issues that people have been seeing are yet to be attended to by the Atari token team. Additionally, nobody has even said anything on their official Twitter platform.
  • Atari had fallen by 84% from the sales price to $0.04 before users gained access to their tokens.
  • Even though Atari token was sold at a discounted rate on bitcoin.com, they moved their trading to Uniswap, and most of their tokens are currently held on Uniswap.

The whole mission behind Atari token is to ensure the decentralization of video games and the entertainment industry. This means using Atari token in multiple different games and making entertainment better.

Atari Token (ATRI), the first foray into a gaming digital currency by legendary video game developers Atari Interactive, ended its first 36 hours of trading down almost 70%. The current price is well below the public sale price and is even below the discounted price in the presale rounds.

This shows that the token was not properly planned before launching, it was so bad that people lost part of the money they invested before they even had access to the token, which is really bad,

The crash was attributed to several factors, including market saturation in the number of game consoles and available games as well as waning interest in console games in favor of personal computers. Revenues peaked at around $3.2 billion in 1983, then fell to around $100 million by 1985 (a drop of almost 97 percent).

The token dip simply shows the backlash of over-hyped activities behind the token offering.
