Richard Salinas Pliego, Mexico’s third-richest man, and chairman at conglomerate Grupo, has recently added the bitcoin hashtag to his Twitter bio. This puts him with Elon Musk, Rusell Okung, and several other high-profile individuals who have embraced Cryptocurrencies. They have done this by honoring the most popular currency today on their social media. This ranges from Twitter bio changes, to meme uploads, forum discussions, and so much more.

The Mexican billionaire has a net worth of about 13.2 billion USD. A good 10% of his wealth is all BTC. He had first started out crypto with only 200 USD back in 2013, and since then , he has called it the “best investment ever.”

Ever Since, the Mexican billionaire has been expressing his love for Crypto —BTC specifically. He has done this real-time and on social media as well, now, he refers to his Twitter profile to do the same.

Ever since Elon musk added the bitcoin hashtag to his Twitter profile, further causing a bitcoin pump and dump, a line of celebrities have also started taking to this trend. The third richest man in Mexico is not left behind. This is following the recent announcement that MasterCard was to launch a new crypto project initially in Mexico before moving on to other emerging countries.

For me, the future of crypto is incoming at a great rate. With more celebrities like Ricardo Salinas Pliego adding bitcoin to her bios, surely one day, these large business men and icons could do a lot more.

I’m referring to adding digital currencies to their balance sheet, just like Tesla has recently done, paying staff in crypto currencies as well, like Twitter has announced to one day regulate, easing the buying and selling of and via these currencies as we can see in Paypal and Cash App. So much more is there to do and it is great to see the world well on its way to going full Crypto.

“What’s happening in Venezuela, in Argentina where fiat money is collapsing has become a scandal. It really opens your eyes to the problem of fiat cash,”

This was Salinas’s words as he explained his thoughts on several countries facing economic meltdowns and in my opinion, there has bever been a more perfect response.
