How I got My first Bitcoin by Ali Rizvi

So, how did I get my first Bitcoin? That's an interesting topic to write about. I've always wanted to share my story but didn't get the right forum but now thanks to Remitano I have the opportunity to tell my story. I will explain how to avoid being scammed from different websites running on the internet. Let's start the story.

A few years ago, I knew nothing about cryptocurrency or Bitcoin so I had no interest in earning or buying any Bitcoin. On the evening of 15 September 2018, I was at a party with some family members. We had dinner and later went outside with one of my cousins to get some fresh air. He then started telling me about Bitcoin and how he invested in a Bitcoin mining company that pays out in Bitcoin called AWSMINING(dot)COM.

He said he was earning around $10 every day by just investing $400 and showed me pictures of the company's mining farm. And that got me interested.

After the conversation, I started reading about cryptocurrency the next day. And my interest in crypto started developing day by day. I contacted my cousin a week later and told him that I wanted to invest in Bitcoin.

On 23rd September 2018, my cousin and a few of his friends came to my house, we started discussing about Bitcoin and how AWSMINING(dot)COM uses Bitcoin mining machines, generated profit and how the company shares its profit with their members.

They also told me 3-4 of their friends resigned from their jobs and worked for AWS as accounts managers and earning more than they were earning from their previous jobs.

Their stories inspired me and without doing any further research I transferred $800 to my cousin to open an account for me in AWS. He instantly helped me to log in to a website, created my account, handed over my account details to access the website.

They also told me that this is an MLM company which means that if I sponsor more members, I will earn a joining bonus plus some additional percentage of the new member's income.

Next day I logged in to the AWS website and saw my first earning of $8 worth of BTC. I was so happy to get my first Bitcoin, but that's when the real tragedy started. I can see the BTC amount but I didn't know how to exchange the BTC to USD.

I then called my cousin and asked him how to exchange the BTC, but he said "do not worry I will tell you when it is time to exchange for the time being let the BTC in your account because BTC rates will increase."

I agreed as I knew a little about BTC and continued to invest more money in AWS. I also asked other people to join AWS and invested on behalf of my other friends, family members and colleagues.

My account started growing day by day and in a matter of just 7 months I had already invested $9,000. I can view my earnings but couldn't exchange or withdraw it. People who have invested in AWS through me starting asking for their profits.

With the help of another person, I created a wallet on Mycoindeal.com which is an affiliate company of AWS to withdraw the earned BTC to Mycoindeal wallet. But the problem still remains - how to exchange in local currency?

As time went by, I started to noticed that earnings on AWS were decreasing day by day. That eventually went to zero in just a matter of 1 month. The company posted an update on their website saying that one the mining farms in Paraguay has caught fire is burnt to ashes.

A week after this news came out, another news was published saying that AWS mining farms were seized in China. Then eventually the most feared news said - "Keeping in view the current series of events, AWSMINING is now officially closed". I was shocked as I had $9,000 invested in AWS and I could no longer access the website.

That was just unbelievable. Everything happened so quickly. I could barely stand up to my feet and face the fact I had $9,000 debt to pay and I had no means to repay it. "I have been scammed," as I said to myself, for the first time in my life. I made many calls and emailed AWSMINING but no replies received. It was hard to believe but that is the fact.

For days I stopped answering calls from people asking for their investments because I had no answer. Then I realized how long I would be able to keep away and that people would start calling me a cheater and that would be embarrassing for me and my family. So, something has to be done.

I then started my research again about cryptocurrency because I thought that will be the only option I could pay back my investors.

I purchased my own mining machines and started mining on my own. Then I opened an account on Remitano and started withdrawing to Remitano and exchanged to local currency and to pay back my investors.

Well, that's my story about how I got my first Bitcoin. I would ask my readers to not panic in that situation like I have faced. Think and rethink to find a solution. Secondly, if you are planning to invest in cloud mining always do some research. And only invest and trade in well-known crypto companies like Remitano.

Much of the conversation around predicting the price of Bitcoin through 2020 and beyond hinges on the effect of the Bitcoin mining reward halving set to take place in May will have. Some believe it will have no effect at all, while others are betting big on this. If history is to be taken into consideration, Bitcoin should reach a new high of $400,000 following the event.
