Edward Snowden has pointed out that the dollar, set against bitcoin, has fallen in value of 99.3% from 2020 till date. He was one of the first people to draw attention to the lack of privacy over the internet. In the famous case of 2013, he leaked classified files that showed how NSA was surveilling everyone.
The bitcoin is also a part of that advocacy for privacy because of its owner's anonymous nature. Since the dollar is as close to universal as any fiat currency can guess and is the standard for pretty much everything, this could then be interpreted as a bowing out of the old and making way for the new.
The Winklevoss twins, Cameron and Tyler Winklevoss, have restated their statements that bitcoin exceeds 500,000 US dollars for one bitcoin. They also affirmed that they expect the prices of bitcoin to surpass that of gold in the future. They asked their audience at the Singapore Fintech Festival to get themselves informed on bitcoin.
Ethereum is expected to continue to climb in the future. In recent times, the ethereum has continued to hold its place in the high $500's. It is believed to be a strong indicator of the boost that is to come. This comes even as bitcoin is expected to surpass its all-time high due to pressure from Wall Street. Due to the launch of the ETH2, the price of ethereum is hoped to reach $900.
Ripple is now trading above the $0.600 after time spent testing the $0.550, and it's a gradual climb to its current spot. It is facing resistance along $0.6150 &. $0.6200 with a crucial contraction triangle gathering at $.0.6130.
Closing above the resistance levels of $0.6150 & $0.6200 could usher in a sharp boost. It could even see the price increasing as much as $0.0650 and possibly even $0.680.
In the case of failure to overcome the resistance levels, there might be a sharp price decline.
In Conclusion, the outlook for most cryptocurrencies is still very positive. A lot of expectations seem to be riding on bitcoin. As a cryptocurrency poster child, it is blazing the trail for other altcoins to follow.
