While BTC keeps pushing into new record highs, ETH also reached a new record high after the news that CME is planning to start ETH futures bonds next year.
Bitcoin’s price reached a new record high on the 16th of December, increasing by 10% in a day from $19,140 to $21,340. On the 17th of December, Bitcoin extended its gains by an additional 4%, while the market is presently looking for reinforcement close to $21,800 after reaching a top of $22,160.

ETH could hit $1000 this December
While most traders are fixated on the BTC trend, ETH also reached a record high after increasing 10% on the 16th of December. Presently, the value is extended to a local high of $656 on BitMEX, with the trades presently moving half percent over yesterday's final price of $640.
The price surge came after the news of CME's intention of launching Ethereum futures next year, awaiting operational authorization.
CME started its BTC futures bonds in December 2017, which beckoned the high of the 2017 milestone surge.
Many traders believe that ETH could see a greater uptrend move. Twitter crypto analyst “Altcoin Sherpa” stated that Ethereum began a bullish rally in December. He also noted that ETH realized about 100% gains in Decembers since 2017, and as such, the crypto asset will surpass $1k.
