I think the first milestone that we should talk about as regards to Bitcoin is how the coin reached a record high. The currency managed to topple over the psychological high of $50,000 last week.
The coin’s success did not end there as the price spiked again to reach a whopping $58,000 earlier this week, on Sunday.
The momentum this year for BTC as well as other cryptocurrencies has been massive. Market capitalization for BTC has reached for an enormous $1 trillion. All this is to be accounted for sums up to a total 90% rise this year.
Significantly fueled by institutional investments, in all, I think the major factor of a Bitcoin’s growth has been the $1.5 billion investment by the well-known company, owned by the richest man in the world, Tesla.
Since the beginning of the year the coin has experienced massive surges but also some major dumps along the way. In early January, its price got to around $40,000 before proceeding to plummetto about $30,000 later on.
In the beginning of the year, Bitcoin started at around 28,900 worth. However, since it rose to $50,000 the coin has continued ti reach greater heights.
The enormity of the percentage rise since the year started has granted many investors unbelievable gains, and you can be rest assured institutional investors have not been left out of these advancements.
Aside Tesla’s bold step towards crypto investments many other reputable companies have followed suit. Some of these include MasterCard, Blackrod, PayPal, Cash App, Square and some even predict, Apple and Amazon will soon join in the newest crypto trends.

Aside from global investors, the pandemic itself has set a great scene for crypto to conquer. As less people are giving the opportunity and authorization to interact with one another, cashless policies has slowly crept into worldwide systems. This has made online transactions rise predominately.
Many individuals choose to perform more crypto transactions during this time of global economic meltdowns. This is because crypto transactions take less time, are less costly and are more location-friendly.
Although still facing many criticisms, Bitcoin bypasses these critics and continues to grow. The momentum for crypto in the year 2021 is nothing like I’ve ever seen before.
Finally. one advice I will always give for newbie investors is to risk only about 10% of your portfolio.
"To this day, I tell curious friends to set aside their beer money but not their rent money because it is what I have always done.", so says Kurt Wuckert.
