Do Kwon, the creator of the Terra Luna blockchain, was the subject of a South Korean government arrest order last Wednesday. Not just him but also five other individuals. According to the government, this arrest was made as a result of a thorough breach of market laws and regulations.

There has been a declining trend in Terra LUNA since the authorities announced Do Kwon's detention. Due to the recent event, the coin's price, which had been fluctuating between $0.00030 and $0.00034, has subsequently veered in the other direction. The price of the currency is now $0.0002748, which is an 11% decline over the past 24 hours. LUNC is currently down 33% when compared to other cryptocurrency heavyweights, which is the worst trend in the last week.

The Terraform Lab's crypto LUNA appears to be the one that is struggling the most. Among the top 100 cryptocurrencies, LUNA has had an extreme decline of more than 51% from last week to the present, with trades of $2.58 and a drop of 13.76% in the last 24 hours

However, when the price dropped, the LUNC community refuted Do Kwon's connection to Terra LUNC's downward trajectory. Kwon also released a statement on the allegations of evading police enforcement in the meantime, saying he will cooperate with the police and the authorities as he claims to have nothing to hide. He said that the business will vigorously defend itself, protected by the law and in accordance with several jurisdictions.

According to reports, the $40 billion disaster was caused by a breach of capital market laws that was related to the warrant. Bragar Eagel & Squire earlier claimed in a complaint that Terra broke the Exchange Act by "simply executing a scheme, strategy, and method of conduct" designed to "defraud small traders" and eventually persuade customers "to acquire Terra Tokens at fraudulently extortionate rates."

About 90% of LUNA's value was lost in May when the stablecoin algorithm broke free from the dollar. This disaster unbalanced the market's burning and minting systems. Kwon continued by endorsing a suggestion from the public to increase the ecosystem's minting capacity to more than $1.2 billion. Large UST withdrawals are a problem that this solution seeks to address.

After a lengthy period of quiet, Do Kwon spoke forward in an interview to say that he had lost everything as a result of the accusations and claims of fraud made against him, but that he still believed in the growth of Terra 2.0. In the last several months, legal proceedings have begun when authorities in South Korea's Southern District searched the home of Terraform Labs co-founder Daniel Shin to look into potential criminal activity.

Furthermore, Do Kwon was charged with siphoning off substantial sums of cash from the scheme before its downfall. A member of the Terra community members named FatMan asserted that Do Kwon stole $2.7 billion from the system.

Ever since legal organizations in South Korea including the Financial and Securities Crimes Joint Investigation Team have been keeping an eye on several firm developers as well as Do Kwon. Let us know what you think about this in the comment section below.

My opinion was that Do Kwon has to be brought to the book and government should conduct thorough investigation to deter and forestall future occurrence because it causes panic and distrust in cryptocurrency arena
