CRYPTO PORTFOLIO MANAGEMENT

Portfolio management is one of the most important things that will end up determining if you will be successful in cryptocurrency investment or not. It is vital to understand how to maximize your potential in your portfolio and work to reduce your risks.

Your portfolio I like a plant that needs to be catered for, attended to, and taken care of; otherwise, it will wither and die. Several tips will help you manage your crypto portfolio effectively.

Firstly, not using your assets entirely is a common mistake that many investors make, and it is a very costly mistake. For example, you have to stake your coin if you can stake it; otherwise, you miss out on massive gain potentials. You are robbing yourself of significant gains.

Secondly, you should not be afraid to rebalance your portfolio. When one of your bags begins to pump up, and as a result of this, it starts taking up a more significant percentage of your entire portfolio, then it may be time for you to trim the position back.

For example, if your allocation for a coin is about five percent, but the coin is currently twenty-five percent of your entire portfolio, then you may have to consider taking some off, trimming it a little bit. You do not necessarily have to go back to your ideal percentage, but you should cut it back a bit and allocate it to other positions.

You can increase your Bitcoin position slightly and help reduce volatility to your portfolio; you can get some stable coins and put them into a lending platform while waiting to enter another position and maybe buy the next dip. Allocating to other positions helps because even while you are sitting in cash and using DeFi Yield Farming or lending, you can still earn more profits and get more gains. Stable coins are vital because you cannot buy the dips without having any chips.

Thirdly, you have to minimize your costs. Cost minimization is one aspect that investors hardly pay any attention to but can eat into your profits in the long term if you decide to ignore it. The three biggest fees you will face as an investor in the cryptocurrency market are; Gas fees, Exchange fees, and Withdrawal fees.

If you want to purchase a coin and do not know where to get it, you can go to coingeko.com, type in the name of the coin you want to buy, and see the coin and the exchanges you can get them from. You can also check if your coin is also available on another chain like the Binance smart chain, which currently has lower gas fees than Ethereum.

Looking at exchange fees, Uniswap charges 0.3%, Coinbase can charge you up to 3.9%. Meanwhile, Binance has 0.1% fees, and it drops further by 25% if you pay for your fees using the BNB token. High fees may cost thousands of dollars and missed opportunities as your assets gain in value over time.
