It's a new day with another mountain of bullish news with another publicly-traded company announcing their purchase and confirmation of which university endowments are buying Bitcoin. But with all this bullish news, Why is the Bitcoin price not Bullish? What is going on?

Bitcoin is still in a downtrend right now; we have not broken out of that yet. Bitcoin has been rejected by above the 50-period moving average on the four-hour charts.
So you can see here that there was an attempted breakout; unfortunately, that break out ended up being nothing more than a fake-out move, low volume in this, which is quite indicative.
There is not enough conviction in the market, and that it could be a fake-out move, which is what it was. What we want to see now is a green candle above this purple line with substantial volume coming behind it; until we see this happening, Bitcoin is still in a downtrend. We are a few from what could be a bearish crossover, with the 50 periods moving average falling under the 200 period moving average on the four-hour chart. It may not happen, but if it does happen, it may not mean that the price will fall dramatically, considering the trend of the market currently.

A Chinese gaming company bought more than 20,000 Bitcoin miners to make them a big player in the Bitcoin mining game. Rothschild investments have made a high increase to their Bitcoin holding by grayscale.

Marathon Patent Group, a Nasdaq traded Bitcoin mining company, has just announced that they have bought $150 million worth of Bitcoin, around 4800 Bitcoin. They purchased that via the New York Digital Investment Group. This is a big deal as they buy Bitcoin to diversify from their cash reserves, but to be fair, this is already a Bitcoin pump.

Harvard, Yale, Brown, and the University of Michigan all confirmed that they are buying Bitcoin. These rumors have been floating around for a few weeks. We just were not sure of the Universities that were going to purchase Bitcoin, and they are the endowments of the world's famous universities.
Now we're trying to understand why despite the news of big money entering Bitcoin, why are we still on a downtrend? This is simply because the selling pressure is higher than the buying pressure. More people are willing to sell than people who are eager to buy.

The reason has been explained that increasing sell pressure over the buying pressure keeps Bitcoin downtrend despite the increasing adoption and patronage in the market.
