Ripple Scores Win Over SEC.

The Securities and Exchange Commission has lost its bid to break Ripple’s attorney-client privilege in its suit calling XRP an illegally sold security. The SEC had argued that by saying it thought its actions were legal, Ripple made its conversations with attorneys fair game. A judge denied the request, saying Ripple’s accusation that the SEC was unclear about XRP’s legal status doesn’t qualify.
