CryptoQuant, a renowned analytics resource, estimates that 46.8% of Bitcoin's supply is in the red. This indicates that it was purchased at a greater price by investors.

This occurred as the price of Bitcoin fell below $30K for the first time since July 2021 (on Binance).

Surprisingly, the price fell below the average purchase cost for MicroStrategy's BTC, which now stands at $30,700 per coin.

At this pricing, the corporation led by Michael Saylor, one of Bitcoin's most outspoken supporters, has purchased 129,218 bitcoins.

Crypto and Digital method accounts for one-third of payments

According to CEO Adam Aron, Crypto, along with numerous other digital payment options, accounted for 35% of AMC Theatres' online payments lately.

After launching online payment support for Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), and Litecoin (LTC) in November, the famous movie theater chain has steadily been looking at alternative crypto adoption strategies.

Last month, the AMC Theatres mobile app introduced support for Dogecoin (DOGE) and Shiba Inu (SHIB) payments.

Aron said on Monday during the firm's 2022 Q1 results conference that the company's move into crypto has not only been welcomed with "fanfare," but has also opened up various payment rails that it had previously examined.

Aron also noted that AMC has eight separate nonfungible tokens (NFT) initiatives that have been released or are in the works this year, saying that the technology has already aided AMC in "stimulating the sale of movie tickets."

In November, Sony Pictures released Spider-Man: No Way Home, which contained around 86,000 Spider-Man NFTs for users of its "AMC Stubs Premiere & A-List" and "AMC Investor Connect" memberships.
