U.S. — House Speaker Nancy Pelosi released the new Democratic Coronavirus Relief Act called the Omnibus Emergency Solutions (HEROES) Health and Economic Recovery Act on Tuesday. The 1815-page relief package was incorporated by Congresswoman Nita M. Lowey, chairman of the Appropriations Committee, the House of Representatives committee responsible for passing the appropriation bills.
Partisan members are scheduled to vote on this plan on Friday, which presents the Americans with another series of immediate cash transfers. The Democrats term this bill "a courageous reaction to the coronavirus pandemic and economic crisis." According to the bill 's overview, one of the amendments reads:
“More direct payments: shield the financial consequences of the coronavirus crisis with the second bout of more significant economic effect payouts of $1,200 per family member, up to $6,000 per household”
Following reports, the salary limits are the same as in the Coronavirus Aid, Relief and Economic Security (CARES) Act, which was signed by President Donald Trump in March. The amount would begin to fall from $1,200 above the thresholds of $75,000 and $150,000 respectively.
The bill will not provide recurring fees as demanded by a variety of House Leftists, including Rashida Tlaib, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Ilhan Omar and Ayanna Pressley. This still will not contain the Paycheck Guarantee Act, another radical initiative that promises to protect 100% of employees ' wages up to $90,000 a year.
