Merchants can now easily accept crypto on their website, in-person at their brick-and-mortar store, or by sending invoices with payment links. If you own a website, the most convenient way to accept crypto is to integrate the Remitano Pay into it. If you don't, there's another solution for you.
Technically, no integration is required on your website. Cryptocurrencies aren’t like credit cards. They function more like digital cash, with built-in payment and wallet systems. As an alternative to paying in cash at a brick and mortar store, you could simply have people send payments directly to your wallet. Remitano currently offers two services for accepting cryptocurrency without the need for a website: Invoices and Products.
How to accept crypto without a website
"Invoices" is a Remitano Pay feature that allows you to quickly request crypto payments from a specific email address or Remitano username. You will be given a one-time payment link when you create an invoice. This means you can only make a payment through this link once. If someone has already paid using this link, others will be unable to use it.
You can send secure crypto invoices to any client in the world in less than a minute after setup.
1 - Register Remitano account
This feature is easily accessible to Remitano users with Level 5 KYC in countries where crypto payments are legal. If you do not have a Remitano account, you can easily create one here
2 - Create an invoice
Step 1: Go to the “Payments and Invoices” page from the Dashboard
Step 2: Select Invoices
Step 3: Click “Create new”
Step 4: Enter the payment amount, email, or username (optional) and description.
Step 5: Select “Create” to complete.
3 - Send directly to your friends or customers.
If you fill out the email and username fields after creating an invoice, your customers or friends will receive the invoices via email or Remitano notification. Otherwise, you will be sent the invoice's special payment link to send directly to payers.
Once the link is sent, your customers and friends will be able to review the invoice details and complete crypto payment using their Remitano account.
The valid time of the voice is 48 hours from the creation time. You’ll both receive a notification when a payment is completed. Your received transaction history will be stored here, you can download all transactions in a CSV file.
The Products feature of Remitano Pay allows merchants to easily request crypto payments for a specific product via a payment link. Online businesses that do not have their own website can use this payment method.
After creating a product link, you will receive multiple payment links for this product. In contrast to invoices, the Product payment link allows multiple customers to pay through it, allowing you to send it to multiple customers. As opposed to invoices which has a 48-hour expiration date, Product payment links do not expire.
1 - Register to become our Merchant
The first step in accepting crypto payments with Remitano via Product payment links is to sign up for a Remitano Merchant account here.
Because you don't have a website address, you can put any link that shows you sell products online in the first row, such as Facebook, Instagram, or an e-commerce platform. Please do not hesitate to leave a note to assist us in better understanding your business and facilitating the approval of your request. Your information will be verified within one to three business days. We will notify you via email of the outcome. If your request was denied, please follow the instructions in the email or contact us for further assistance.
2 - Create product payment link
Step 1: Go to the “Merchant” page from the Dashboard
Step 2: Choose “Products”
Step 3: Click “Add new”
Step 4: Enter the name, code (optional), price, and description of the product then select “Create” to complete
3 - Send directly to customers
Your payment has been processed and is ready to be sent. Then, copy the generated product payment link and send it to your customer directly, or attach it to your online store post. Your customers will be able to review the details and complete crypto payments using their Remitano account once they click the link.
As you can see, there are numerous methods for accepting cryptocurrency, and you can ultimately decide how much crypto exposure you want based on your level of comfort. So, aside from a customer request, why would you consider crypto payments?
