The American technology company, Apple, has prevented Coinbase from including some features on its iOS app. It prevented the exchange from including the ability to gain crypto and also access to Decentralized finance applications.
The exchange platform has been finding it difficult to get some of its features approved for its iOS platform application.
The CEO of the exchange platform, Brian Armstrong, explained some of the challenges facing the App store restriction on the operating system. He stated that they had been denied the ability to allow clients and users to earn cryptocurrency and also the ability to access Dapps.
He stated on twitter that the crypto exchange had made efforts to resolve the matter through normal means with Apple and contacted leadership to ask for dialogue, but all the efforts seem to be in vain.
The CEO questioned apple reasons for not allowing iOS users to earn via crypto during the economic crises caused by the pandemic.
He further explained that Coinbase had been prevented from introducing a list of Decentralized applications (Dapps) to its clients using the operating system claiming that the exchange provides crypto transactions in non-embedded software within the application.
