BTC whales buy more amid price fall speculation

As the weekend started, data from Cointelegraph Markets Pro and TradingView indicated BTC/USD steadily shattering support levels that had been in place for many weeks.

After numerous attempts of $43,000, the pair ultimately gave up and fell to $42,131 on Bitstamp, its lowest level since March 23.

Cross-crypto liquidations totaled $200 million on April 9 in the one day to the time of writing, according to figures from on-chain tracking site Coinglass. Bulls waiting for a recovery movement felt the effects.

As a result, the short-term picture for traders was very gloomy. Crypto Ed, a well-known pundit, predicted a retest of $40k but cautioned that Bitcoin might not remain there.

A chart with support levels between $40,000 and $37,500 suggested a forecast multi-step downturn.

However, the founder of on-chain data startup Glassnode, Yann Allemann, and Jan Happel, highlighted the possibility of fluctuation due to decreased weekend market volumes.

Compared to the last week, Bitcoin's weekly candle will end on April 10 with a loss of about $5,000, or roughly 10%.

The limited-edition collection will include 75,817 NFTs, which represents the capacity of the team's home stadium, San Siro.

It will feature a 3D picture of a shirt discovered in South Sudan by Danish war photographer Jan Grarup, who was there last December to chronicle extensive floods.

To help fund the initiative, BitMEX teamed with AC Milan to provide selling discounts and "other perks" to the first 10,000 pre-orders. By acquiring a "big quantity" of NFTs, BitMEX will donate to Fondazione Milan.

According to the release, the funds would be used to support the club's philanthropic activities worldwide, including the ongoing situation in Ukraine and a UNICEF project in South Sudan.

Everyone keeps taking advantage of the dip. Holders of large amounts of bitcoin are often known as whales and they’re becoming a worry for investors. They can send prices plummeting by selling even a portion of their holdings and those sales are more probable now that the cryptocurrency is up nearly twelvefold from the beginning of the year. Congratulations AC Milan on your first NFT and mostly with the proceeds of the sales going to Fondazione Milan to support their charitable initiatives across the globe, including its efforts to help alleviate the ongoing humanitarian crisis in Ukraine. We Move 💪🏽

The dip in $BTC is always seen as an opportunity to buy more no matter how small. So it's not out of place to hear that BTC whales buy more despite price decrease. I'm buying more myself 😉.AC Milan collecting NFT shows that more is yet to come for NFT. Thank God I'm here early
