ETH 2.0 to begin by 4th of August

ETH 2.0 is ready to begin in the next two weeks. The much-anticipated upgrade is set to commence with an initial date released for the maiden public test-net. The program's coordinator disclosed this and added that additional information would be made known in a few days.

The initial stage of Ethereum 2.0, phase 0, has been working on several test-nets after creating the Genesis block. It is the initial phase in the anticipated upgrade to "proof of stake" that will effectively boost and enhance business speeds. This new network will be bought by buyers investing at least 32 Ethereum.

This new network has been successfully tested for three months, with the first test happening in April while using a lower deposit of 3.2 Ethereum. After the successful first test, 32 Ethereum nodes started working on Topaz in May, and investment bonuses were given.

Another testnet that started working in June has now been validated by almost 20,000 validators.

Lastly, phase 0 of the new network underwent a multi-client testnet that started working in July to guarantee strength and provide security before launching a public testnet.
