The blockchain industry is gaining momentum, as Telos recently announced a partnership with a Dapp company- Katalyo, to tokenize some Croatian properties worth $35M.
According to Telos' statement, each of the registered property owners will receive two types of tokens from Katalyo. One of the tokens will functions as a title deed or proof of ownership, while the other token will work like a fiat-based stablecoin, which will be linked to the revenue received from these properties.
The co-founder of Katalyo, Ivica Ljubicic, also believes that Telos has the right technical competence and expertise to put the Croatian real estate market in the global blockchain map. This innovation will eventually increase the exposure of Croatian properties to more investors.
The Telos blockchain platform supports the creation of Dapps for all industries, including entertainment/games, social media, and financial services. Using the platform's smart contract feature, developers can build decentralized apps on EOSIO for businesses and enterprises. Because of the developers' user-friendly interface, Telos has become one of the most active blockchain networks in the industry.
Tokenisation has been on the increase recently because of the surge of blockchain applications. The pandemic has made many businesses restructure operations, and migrated to the use of DLT, and the real estate sector has not been left out.
