World’s second rated cryptocurrency, Ethereum Is currently excelling in performance over Bitcoin. Within this week alone, Ethereum managed to record a high of 1829.59 USD. This was a great improvement considering its previous high was 1761.35 USD.
This year seems to be a great one for Ethereum. Prices have doubled this year and we are barely past the first quarter. I think is is quite impressive under the span of two months. This is greater than any achievement Bitcoin has attained this year. Hence, it is safe to say that Ethereum is currently outperforming Bitcoin.
I personally think that the prices could be surging due to numerous reasons, the first can be found on crypto exchanges.
The rate of low liquidity faced by a crypto exchanges could be one of the reasons for Ethereum's successes. Investors and crypto holders tend to move their digital coins to decentralized finance platforms— wallets and personal addresses. This is because coins are more vulnerable to hackers o. an exchange than in cold storage.
Another good reason for the price surge is the rate of public crypto participation. Just recently, Chicago Mercantile Exchange has announced that they plan on going crypto real soon. Ethereum is proposed to be used as a form of payment for further projects. Increased usability equals increased prices.
Another really good reason is that Crypto overall is rising as legitimate forms of trading and investment. Minor traders and holders have more confidence in their tokens than ever before. This is because more companies are trusting these coins with their investments.
We are reaching higher user volumes and that depicts how bullish these digital currencies are this year, and Ethereum is left out.
Ethereum has never looked better than 2021. This year alone, the price of Ethereum has been so bullish that it rose by times two of its previous value. On the other hand, Bitcoin only increased by 58%. Although still very impressive, it is still not as much of a success than Ethereum.
My advice for those looking to hold cryptocurrencies awaiting future wealth is that Ethereum is a great choice. It is already second rated and an even easier reach than Bitcoin which we see is nearing the 50,000 USD high. Ethereum is a great investment and is growing at a very bullish rate. Therefore, wealth and riches are easily accessible just by buying and holding Ethereum.
