Hardware wallet manufacturing firm, Trezor, faces criticism after stating that BCH holders expecting an airdrop must move their coin to be forked.

Trezor's decision of not backing coin-split during the upgrade implies that BCH holders with the token in their hard wallet must transfer them to another wallet for their BCHN coin to be forked. Users branded the decision unprofessional and a very disappointing one.

Major Update

  • The parent firm of Trezor explained that it would delay, know the best BCH implementation over time.
  • It will not partake in the protocol update until the crypto space decides.
  • Once the update is done, it will observe and back the implementation with more support of the crypto space in general.
  • The token is ready to split into two, with the next update on Nov. 15.
  • This action led to the execution of BCHN that has gotten the backing of over 75% of BCH miners.

Last week, just 1% of all Bitcoin Cash blocks expressed support for bitcoin ABC, which implies that the hash rate backing its proposition is low. while BCHN has gotten the support of miners from the start.

What do you think about Trezor's decision not to support the BCH fork? Let's discuss this in the comment section.

SatoshiLabs will not be participating in the fork until a decision is made by the community. If you wish to take part in the fork, you should transfer your BCH balance to another wallet which is supporting the coin split, to make sure you receive any coins resulting from the hard fork.

The firm must have a good reason for not backing the new fork, after all virtually all firms work on interests based on their customers satisfaction and security,
