Do you want Tesla to accept Doge? It is a question many Dogecoin and overall cryptocurrency supporters have been talking about. It was posted as a Twitter poll by the influential personality, Elon musk, who has occasionally expressed his love for the currency in more ways than one.

Starting from various Dogecoin-inspired memes posted by the billionaire to buying the token for his child and several other forms of advocacy and honorable mentions on his Twitter page. It was believed by many that Elon musk’s heavy support could drive the currency up to a dollar.

However, when everything was on the line at the SNL show, many Dogecoin supporters were on the edge of the seats for Elon musk to prove he was truly the Dogefather. It was only over a day later that Musk announced the SpaceX and Geometric energies Corp. partnership. The future launch of a Dogecoin-funded satellite to the moon by the first quarter of 2022.

Conclusion

Tesla accepting Dogecoin as a form of payment would send the coin’s prices soaring for the moon and eventually to the one-dollar mark, as many speculators have predicted.

As of the time of writing, the poll has 78% upvotes while 22% voted down. Therefore, there is a high chance that someday we could buy Tesla products using Dogecoins.

As of now, one Tesla model 3 would cost around 80,000 Dogecoins.
