Ellis Pinsky, a teenage hacker who allegedly stole $23.8 million worth of cryptocurrencies, has been accused of threatening his accomplice. The news stated that his accomplice is another teenager who tried to aid Ellis to launder the stolen cryptocurrencies.
Ellis Pinsky got his fame after he was alleged to steal $23.8 million worth of cryptocurrencies from Michael Terpin. At the time of the hacking incident, Ellis was only 15 years old. Nonetheless, a few years later, Ellis became the subject of a civil suit from Michael Terpin himself. Ellis was sued for $71.4 million.
Michael Terpin claimed that Ellis still guarded the money that was stolen from him because Terpin’s informant claimed that Ellis admitted (to the informant) that Ellis still saved his $100 million somewhere in offshore accounts.
The Accomplice Sent Large Sum of Money To The Wrong Address
One of Ellis Pinksy’s accomplices made a police report in 2018 and he made a claim that he was threatened by Ellis himself after sending a large sum of money to the wrong wallet address. The police report stated that Ellis Pinsky kept bothering the accomplice and even went as far as threatening the accomplice’s mother. The accomplice was hired in the first place to help Ellis Pinsky launder the money from the hacking incident. This news was seen as something out of ordinary by most of the crypto community, knowing that Ellis Pinsky was still very young and yet he managed to steal millions of dollars worth of crypto.
