A U.S based Investment bank, Morgan Stanley on Wednesday notified the advisors through a confidential memo of its plans to launch access to funds that enable bitcoin ownership. Sources say there would be three of these BTC ownership funds.

Morgan Stanley is a multinational financial services corporation. Corporations, states, financial companies, and individuals are among the firm's clients and customers, who receive investment banking products and services. Institutional Shares, Asset Management, and Investment Management are the company's three business divisions.

Major Signals

  • Morgan Stanley will allow clients to invest in Bitcoin (BTC), but only under certain circumstances.
  • It is starting up access to three funds that enable ownership of bitcoin
  • Two of the funds are from Galaxy Digital, a cryptocurrency firm founded by popular shark tank host, Mike Novogratz.
  • The third is a collaboration between asset manager FS Investments and bitcoin company NYDIG.
  • The bank believes it is appropriate for people with "an aggressive risk tolerance" and at least $2 million in assets held by the company

On request of investors, these segments provide differing services for investors depending on whether you're institutional or not, what you're invested in and what you're investing. Harold Stanley and Henry S. Morgan founded the company on September 16, 1935, and it is headquartered in New York, NY.

Morgan Stanley, a financial powerhouse, appears to have given Bitcoin its endorsement. According to a new “internal memo” obtained by CNBC, Morgan Stanley will allow clients to invest in Bitcoin (BTC), but only under certain circumstances.

According to people with direct knowledge of the matter, “the investment bank, a multinational in investment banking with $4 trillion in assets, told its financial advisors Wednesday in an internal report that it is starting up access to three funds that enable ownership of bitcoin,” CNBC reported on Wednesday. The opportunity is said to be available in April.

Two of the funds are from Galaxy Digital, a cryptocurrency firm founded by popular shark tank host, Mike Novogratz. The third is a collaboration between asset manager FS Investments and bitcoin company NYDIG.

Morgan Stanley is restricting access to the volatile asset to its wealthiest clients: The bank believes it is appropriate for people with "an aggressive risk tolerance" and at least $2 million in assets held by the company. To meet the criteria for the new stakes, investment firms must have at least $5 million in the bank. Each investor's investment allocation is limited to 2.5% of their portfolio.

This comes on the heels of bitcoin reaching $60,000. We hope to see more investors coming in soon.
