Immediate Upgrade Implemented as there were Loopholes in the Lightning Network

Operators using LND versions 0.10 and lower have to update immediately after an error was found.

According to Fromknecht,head of the cryptographic engineering department: "While we have no evidence to suspect that these vulnerabilities have been abused in the wild, we firmly encourage the world to update to lnd 0.11.0 or above ASAP."

Major Updates

There is some news around stating that the vulnerabilities will be publicized on the 20th of October.
The vulnerability discovered is not the first; some were found in 2019 by the Chief Technical Officer of Lightning Labs, which resulted in the upgrade.
The brand doesn’t have reasons to follow the saying that the wild has taken advantage of the vulnerability. Still, as a brand, there are upgrading to Ind 0.11.0 immediately to avoid regret.

On the 9th of October,.Fromknecht, head of the cryptographic engineering department, made the above points known.

There have also been warnings about the Lightning network vulnerability of privacy and how transactions on cryptocurrency have been unsafe.

The lightning network is taking a new phase as Lightning Labs, ACINQ, and Blockstream are on their toes to do better.

Upgrading to fix the bugs is really nice, because no know would love for their assets to be stolen due to loopholes in their program

It is not proper to launch imperfect protocol in the market place because asides from the damage cause on the brand, it will also push investors to abandon the platform most especially where privacy breach is involved. The board and management of LND must have to seat up to fall stall the future recurrence of their system vulnerability by running bug programs among other strategies to timely tackle irregularities if costly legal sanctions must be avoided.
