BTC ‘mid-halving’ will be different

As Bitcoin approaches the halfway of halvings, some experts say the four-year market cycle is evolving and that the halving timeline may no longer define cyclical circumstances.

When the quantity of Bitcoin (BTC) incentives awarded for every new block generated is cut in half, this is known as halving. The second halving will take place on May 5, 2024, bringing block rewards down to 3.125 BTC.

"The main barrier on the road is $50K," author Alerzio said on the Santiment blog on Monday. Topping this level by or around the next mid-halving on April 11 would dispel several worries about whether the usual market cycle has been interrupted, according to the blog.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin is already down 3.31% in the last 24 hours and 6.51% for the week with only a few days left. As per Cointelegraph statistics, it is currently selling at $43,528.

Santiment proved that, historically, a bull run emerged following each halving, with value rising in lockstep with network activity, culminating in a spectacular value climax leading to an all-time high (ATH). This trend occurred between a more recent halving in May 2020 and the ATH in November 2021.

On the other hand, A lengthy market correction generally occurs after mid-halving. The market is suggesting a probable halt to that four-year cycle, as the network is nearing mid-halving. Still, no lengthy market correction is yet visible, according to Santiment.

well, I don't know what I should think about the litecoin foundation but I trust it is a nice step to help boost the coin $ltc. Nontheless, whatever matrix $BTC is playing he better be discrete about it because I'm expecting him to give me some profits.. 😂😂
