As Kraken declares SHIB listing, Shiba Inus have gained above 30% in just two days

The Shiba Inu instruments' upward movement coincides with a larger price resurgence in prominent digital currencies, including Bitcoin.

Shiba Inu (SHIB), a Dogecoin-themed meme token, has risen by over 30% week-to-date, making it one of the strongest performers across mainstream and digital assets markets.

After jumping off technical support at $0.00003560 at the start of the week, the value of SHIB hit $0.00005155 on Tuesday. Its recovery showed a trend change, especially following last week's larger market sell-off triggered by fears over the new COVID-19 strain, called Omicron.

Kraken, a US-based cryptocurrency exchange, was at the heart of Shiba Inu's bullish rebound, announcing on Monday that it will effectively authorise SHIB trade on its platform starting Nov. 30. On the other hand, Kraken stated that it would not provide SHIB futures or margin trading services.

With the SHIB listing, Kraken exchange challenges peers' regulatory fears

Other cryptocurrency exchanges, such as Robinhood, have resisted offering altcoins like SHIB because of regulatory issues.

Kraken, a digital asset exchange located in the United States, has declared its plan to begin supporting the popular meme coin Shiba Inu (SHIB) on November 30.

A face value of 373,000 SHIB ($16) and a minimum trading volume of 50,000 SHIB ($2) will be required. SHIB will be accessible to trade against the US dollar and euro at first, although Kraken Futures and Margin Trading will not be available.

SHIB is one of the projects supported by Kraken Australia managing director Jonathon Miller, who told Cointelegraph that the crypto marketplace promotes projects with a demonstrated demand for trade.

With a market value of $25.81 billion at the time of publication, SHIB is the 12th biggest cryptocurrency. On the news of the listing, SHIB has risen more than 20% in the previous 24 hours.

"I wouldn't describe Kraken as a location where every single coin is recorded; that's not what we've been renowned for," Miller remarked.

With 93 assets on the market, Kraken is one of the least conservative exchanges. Coinbase, on the other hand, covers 51 assets, whereas Robinhood offers just seven.
