Everyone whether directly, or indirectly have heard of cryptocurrency, most especially bitcoin and ethereum, and the marvellous wonder of how the price fluctuates with news and rumours. Cryptocurrency is being wildly used across the world to make payment for the purchase of goods and services, It used to be the rich, and the people that are cognizance of its potential benefit that invested in crypto initially but now people from different class have begun investing in it.
Trading in cryptocurrency has been tedious for me to say the least, here, I will be narrating my experience trading in cryptocurrency to you but before getting into details let me first introduce you to cryptocurrency and its world to give you a glimpse of what it really encompasses.
Cryptocurrency or crypto for short, as defined in the book "Cryptocurrency Master - Everything You Need To Know About Cryptocurrency" as "An electronic form of currency that allows the transmission of value between two nodes on a network." It can be dated back as far as the 1990s when an American cryptographer David Chaum created DigiCash which was considered online money In Netherland but actually went into demise in 1998 when the company went into bankruptcy. Since then series of online money came and lots of remarkable events have occurred but in 2009 an anonymous person or group of people that went by the name Satoshi Nakamoto launched what is known as Bitcoin and since then it has continued to grow incredibly till date in very interesting ways.
Now let's walk through my journey of trading Cryptocurrency, it all started in December 2017 when my brothers' friend came with the news of the surge in the price of Bitcoin and we knew what that means because we have been following the news. At that very moment, we asked ourselves; how could we also tap from the golden opportunity of Bitcoin? Sadly, we didn't have any money on us that we can use to invest. Days went by and we kept brainstorming on what to do and finally, we came up with the idea that we can mine BTC and later use the gain to invest. We mined for days but the results we were getting was discouraging, I remember the hours it took for my 0.00000001 to increase to 0.00000002. We knew it would take forever to mine a significant amount, so we had to come up with another idea which was to create a community like an affiliate which we will get a group of people interested in crypto and we would invest and grow the Bitcoin in our wallet. Although we were getting very inconsequential amount, we kept pushing it and once we felt we had enough to begin trading with, we decided to begin. However, because we were so naïve we lost everything without getting a dime in profit. Like I said earlier, crypto trading can be so tedious if you don't have the right knowledge and right medium to trade.
Although I have traded in Forex in the past and I know how difficult it was and that trading Cryptocurrency was nothing compared to that but it can be so tiring. Later on, I found out that there are platforms to trade your Bitcoins and Ethereum and some others like Dash, Monero, Litecoin and so many others. Then I registered on the Remitano platform, it doesn't take a genius to use the platform. I took all the money I had made from all my hustles and bought two hundred dollars' worth of Bitcoin. It was a tough decision though, but I knew I had to do it. I did some extensive reading about its credibility and profitability.
All Cryptocurrencies have their dedicated team of management and each crypto has its value and purposes. Some are used strictly for transaction purpose that is mainly used for buying and selling. At that moment, all I wanted was a crypto investment that could change my life, so I went for Bitcoin and Ethereum which I have read up on coinmarketcap.com, the remitano forum and other valuable platforms. Basically what I do is buy the currency wait for a long time for it to increase in value, then exchange them and make a profit off it. This is actually easier said than done but I never allow the stress get to me and before trading, I ensure I have a straightforward process. I set a goal, I enjoy the investment process, I keep it simple and always straightforward, I don't give room to any pressure as the Catalonians will always say "Que cerra cerra" meaning "what will be will be".
One interesting thing about Cryptocurrencies is that they can double the price in just a month and might just keep going up north and before you know it you have made a massive gain. I personally make gains but I wouldn't call it massive because I was only executing short trades, I guess I wasn't patient enough for the crypto to 'moon' as I was using the gain for personal upkeep but I can tell you there are lots of benefit in HODLing for a long time. If you can wait, just invest in a low priced cryptocurrency so that if it goes wrong your loss will be minimal.
I started with two hundred dollars' worth of Bitcoin and at the moment, I can proudly boast of about five thousand dollars worth in my wallet. Bitcoin Price is currently at about $9000, we're anticipating a bull run due to the impending Bitcoin Halving event. Some experts have even predicted BTC to be valued at about $500,000 by 2030, are you thinking what am thinking? Now imagine how much profit would be made from a tiny investment now. My advice to you is no amount is too small to buy and HODL, you will definitely be surprised by your returns.
In conclusion, my cryptocurrency experience has been sort of a bitter/sweet one. Bitter in the sense of the my earlier losses, stress and having to do researches but nothing comes easy, and it has been sweet because of the profit I have made and I am still making.
IT IS NEVER DIFFICULT AND IT IS NEVER TOO LATE WHEN IT COMES TO CRYPTOCURRENCY.
