Will Justin Sun intervene as FTX confirms $8 billion is required to avoid insolvency?
Yesterday's decline in the Bitcoin and cryptocurrency marketplaces was triggered by the termination of the Binance-FTX merger. Crypto markets tumbled after Binance formally announced on Wednesday afternoon that it was abandoning the planned agreement.
BTC's value witnessed a significant downturn and dropped below $16,000 for the very first time since November 2020, reaching $15,690 on Binance. FTX is reportedly in dire need of an $8 billion financial investment to be saved, according to reports, even though several experts caution that bankruptcy may send the cryptocurrency sector decades backward.

Based on a source with firsthand information about the situation, Sam Bankman-Fried, the CEO of FTX and purported "white knight" of the cryptocurrency sector, verified the sum that has been widely touted for a while.
According to reports, just before Binance withdrew from the agreement, Bankman-Fried called investors to let them be aware of the situation. There are several different investors, including BlackRock, Temasek, Sequoia Capital, Circle, Ontario Teachers' Pension Plan, Paradigm, Tiger Global, SoftBank, Ribbit Capital, Alan Howard, Multicoin Capital, and VanEck.
The unnamed insider also said that the struggling exchange is looking for rescue money in the format of stock, loans, or a mix of the two. In the telephone conversation, SBF allegedly said, "I mess it up," and promised to be "extremely, insanely thankful" for any assistance from sponsors.
Are There Any Chances Of An FTX Recapitalization?
Moving forward, away from the failed binance agreement, the status of FTX appears to be in limbo. Although, there might still be two little glimmerings of light and hope even tho Sequoia Capital intends to write off their whole investment in FTX and also FTX.us as they do not share the same optimism.
Temasek, owned by Singapore, offers some optimism. Following Binance's announcement of its potential rescue agreement, the business is claimed to have been in touch with SBF in its capacity as an investor, reported yesterday.
Saying that a CZ acquisition "would help Binance rule dominant in the cryptocurrency industry," a Temasek official is quoted by an unidentified source. The Temasek representative also made it clear that at this moment, no specifics on the discussions can be revealed. It wouldn't be proper that we say further considering the continuing conversations between the two firms.

There may be other ways to salvage the capsized ship without Temasek. The contentious but wealthy inventor of the Tron blockchain, Justin Sun, has tweeted a succession of cryptic statements offering a "fix."
On FTX, the TRX coin is now dealing at a significant value. "TRX transactions on FTX have restarted," according to Sun. improving withdrawing methods and function.
