Are ICOs still legit?

Regulatory gaps are certain as traditional laws combat to make strides with the cutting-edge technology advancements. This is exactly the case with ICOs as they continue their struggle to overcome the regulatory hurdles they face. Though the return of investment on an ICO can be great, the danger is much higher. As token innovation is now reviving, ICOs are getting rarer. They are slowly being replaced by IEO (Initial Exchange Offering) that builds better investors’ confidence and satisfies regulatory requirements at the same time, along with an established user base.

Even though the U.S. Securities and Commission (SEC) is taking measures to improvise the quality of Initial Coin Offerings including their stability, it will still take a significant amount of time in the future to be well regulated. But this decline of ICOs can be advantageous to the crypto community, as fewer ICOs will lead to an improvement in the quality and originality.
