The ETH and DeFi Bullish Run Will Last for a Short Period

Bitcoin is in its consolidation phase while ETH and Defi are stuck in the short term range.

Top crypto analysts believe that bullish bitcoin might run back towards high. The continual increase of Bitcoin will, in the long term, help Etheruem and decentralized finance tokens.

Major signals

  • ETH solid supports will keep it bullish
  • Key chart is showing that there could be ETH and DeFi bounce very soon
  • ETH selling pressure on Huobi's December future market is something to be concerned about

A top trader believes there are chances that ETH might even move higher than predicted. The bounce could go as high as $471 in a few days. Bitcoin is the primary focus as the rally keeps increasing. Bitcoin still leads the overall market, and it's bullish run is a positive signal for other altcoins.

The risk-on behavior of the market will turn out to benefit ETH and DeFi.

Do you think BTC increase will also positively influence ETH and DeFi despite the drop in ETH price? Share your thoughts.

Very well! There has been consistent impacts of Bitcoin price uptrend on Ethereum for the past few months in 2020. This boost to Ether price has impacted Defi projects making use of Ethereum for staking. In that way, they enjoy double increase rapidly accumulated from appreciation in Ether market price and returns on the staked investment.

Many panellists noted that BTC is increasingly finding a place in traditional portfolios and is being bought by both institutional and retail investors as a hedge against inflation. Given the unprecedented quantitative easing efforts by central banks around the world some panellists speculated that BTC would become a widely adopted ‘store of value’ asset. while on Defi side, Defi plays got overly speculative earlier this year, as they often do in this industry. We can see some of those flows now moving back towards bitcoin, with bitcoin dominance trending upwards post the DeFi sell-off.
