As discussed by Bloomberg TV, the president of the American pro baseball team the Oakland Athletics (A's) has accepted bitcoin for full season suites.

The president of Oakland A's believes in the crypto and has stressed that they will be holding the crypto as an asset and not selling it off.

As at the time of writing this news, the following information was gathered;

The president of the Oakland A's, in a recent interview with Bloomberg Tv has decided to accept bitcoin for payments of tickets.

On that account, the president emphasised his reliance on the crypto, noting that the team will be holding the crypto asset it obtains from sales, rather than selling off.

According to reports from Bitcoin.com in mid March. The acceptance of bitcoin payments for the 2021 full season suites that seats up to six people by the A's was ideal no matter how much BTC fluctuated in value.

The president of the American pro baseball team explains that the A's will be holding the bitcoin in spite of Monday's BTC rate which creates a discount in the cost of buying a full suite for the season.

According to Laval, the house was excited by the announcement of bitcoin for payments.

In view of this the team has reserved ten 2021 full-season suites for bitcoin purchase, but no payments have been made with the cut-off date on April 1.

Irrespective of that Kaval is hopeful having seen over a hundred inquiries on the reservation.

The acceptance of Cryptocurrency by the team is a progression on the exposure of crypto asset, for example the NBA has seen teams like the Mavs and Kings adopting such measures for payments.

Other important updates from the news are as follows;

It was announced in a post last weekend, that FX Exchanges, a crypto trading platform has taken over ownership of American Airlines Arena in Miami, which will be officially renamed FX Arena and many people assume that the home of Maimi Heat will be infused with lots of crypto advertising. And it seems the Oakland A's are not the only sports team that are believers in the technology and the trend of acceptance continues to spread about Oakland.

What are your thoughts about Oakland Athletics decision to accept payments in bitcoin?
