The firm intends to implement the solutions through Liberhealth, a partner organisation and platform that manages databases of patients. Liberhealth is designing blockchain applications that will automate the contact tracing process and review databases of patients experiencing close symptoms.
So how does the firm roll out this innovation to curb the spread of the pandemic?
According to Liberhealth, the organisation is already having discussions with key private and public health stakeholders for partnership possibilities. The application has other practical uses that will help to reduce the mortality rate of patients in health facilities. This objective is achieved by auditing the records of the patient before administering drugs. This process will prevent errors of wrong drug administration due to inadequate patient history.
In5 is also producing other tools, like protective gears for frontline workers that are involved in managing the spread of the virus. The firm intends to build these personal protective gears, using robotics and 3D printing technology.
The UAE, which is known for its high thirst for lastest technologies, will not leave any tool unused in combating this pandemic. They are also not the only ones that have thought of blockchain solutions in recent times for healthcare management.
