Questions were posed to the panel at the Blockchain Futurist Conference regarding the future of decentralized financing as well as what policies needed to be implemented to promote widespread acceptance. The head of the decentralized finance market at The [Ripple]https://remitano.com/forum/ng/post/85811-ripple-sold-409-dollars-million-worth-of-xrp-in-the-second-quarter() Lab, Boris Alergant, responded by stating that the introduction of a killer app and making it accessible to users is the key and the only way to realize the decentralized finance (DeFi) sector and also to the desired level that draws in a broader audience.

During a symposium titled "The Future of DeFi" in Toronto, Canada, Alergant made this remark. Together with Alergant, other panelists included Teller Finance CEO and co-founder Ryan Berkin, FLUIDEFI co-founder and CEO Lisa Loud, and Aventus Ventures CEO Kevin Hobbs.

The overall consensus among penalists was that centralized financial institutions would promote DeFi's adoption in the general population. Additionally, Alergant claimed that the deployment of a user-friendly CeFi app will increase awareness of Defi services, which will help DeFi flourish.

"So I believe corporate acceptance is the direction it's heading, and also the institutions are what will make it possible for customers to use that killer app to really elevate crypto and DeFi to a new level," he stated.

Similar sentiments were shared by Loud, co-founder and CEO of FLUIDEFI, who said that amidst not being familiar with TCP/IP or the TCP/IP protocol suite, the average individual finally embraced the web. When we go ahead in two years, I envision institutions spending enough on DeFi and businesses creating customer experiences that are easier, "she continued.

According to the Ripple CEO, there will be collaboration between the DeFi and Cefi sectors in order to offer clients a standard financial solution. "DeFi will eventually complement and support CeFi." In the end, it doesn't matter if a transaction is executed via decentralised or controlled channels. He stated, "Just give me the best damn implementation."

The world's largest blockchain and cryptocurrency symposium is being held in Toronto, Canada, where the Blockchain Futurist Conference is currently taking place till Wednesday. Although having spoken at the Korea Blockchain Week just two days prior, Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, is anticipated to address the audience during this year's conference.
