Eidoo Crypto Visa Card With DeFi Functionalities Can Be Used In Over 40 Million Merchants

Crypto adoption has been a lifelong problem in the retail space. There are so many retailers out there who might believe in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies as stores of value and yet they still won’t accept BTC as a medium of payment due to its price volatility. And because of this reason, many retailers will only consider crypto payments if they can automatically convert the crypto to fiat currencies every time someone pays with crypto.

A popular crypto wallet creator, Eidoo, has created its own Eidoo card and now this card project has been approved by Visa. With this approval, Eidoo cards will be able to be used in over 40 million Visa merchants. The concept of crypto-based visa debit cards is nothing new but Eidoo adds a significant feature on top of the card.

This Eidoo card allows its users to sell their cryptocurrencies for regulated stablecoin via Uniswap and other Defi exchanges. These newly regulated stablecoins will be then exchanged to real fiat currencies when the users use the cards inside the stores that accept those cards.

If you are interested in obtaining one of these Eidoo cards, you need to stake 25,000 EDO crypto tokens or burn 100 EDO tokens, which is Eidoo’s native cryptocurrency.
