The Chinese Blockchain Service Network (BSN) incorporates the oracle operation of Chainlink (LINK) into its ecosystem.

BSN has recently been developed by China's State Information Center, China Mobile, China Unionpay, and Red Date Technologies. The purpose of this group is to construct facilities that will lower the access barriers to blockchain technology.

Yifan He, CEO of Red Date Technology and co-founder of BSN, told Cointelegraph that when his company began working with blockchain technology for the first time, he was enthusiastic about the revolutionary technologies that made it possible, but was shocked by how costly it was:

"We have already seen a shift from the Internet to the centralized form of sharing data. And we always loved the equipment. but at the same time, we assumed it was just way too costly to make sense, because it would incur nearly half a million Yuan to establish the project just to set up the environment, together with the framework and the nodes.

Initially, Chainlink was not BSN's number one option but was second on the list of possible oracalized service providers. However, he claims that the power of Chainlink 's culture and the team has motivated them:

"We looked at the top four on the ranking, so Chainlink wasn't number three. That was the second one. But we've shown that Chainlink has the strongest culture, the strongest support. [...] We really enjoyed the band, too.

He also noted that, sadly, there are so many myths regarding Chinese blockchain ventures in the West that suggest, "Not everyone in China is bad."
