BCH fans are hoping quietly for 53 days before the Bitcoin Cash Upgrade on November 15. News. Bitcoin.com announced on September 1 that there is a strong probability that the BCH blockchain will bifurcate into two networks.
At the time, our newsletter outlined how influential members of the BCH group were bidding farewell to the Bitcoin ABC creators, and several mining operations started signalling the BCHN node.
61.19 per cent of the last 1,000 blocks are mined using BCHN complete node software based on Coin Dance results. Today, Coin Dance figures reveal that 612 out of the previous 1,000 blocks were mined using BCHN complete node tools.
Towards the end of September, two additional pools entered the spectrum of BCHN signals, when Btc.com and Antpool began signalling BCHN in their coinbase parameters.
This means that 82% of the overall BCH hashrate is being signalled to BCHN. The pools used in this category are Binance, Antpool, Btc.com, Btc.top, Bitcoin.com, Huobi, Okex, MY7A, easy2mine, and Bejn.
Over the last 12 hours, around 2.6 exahash per second (EH / s) of hashrate has been guided to the Bitcoin Cash (BCH) chain. Besides, the Coinex trading platform announced contingency plans for the forthcoming update, while the report addresses the risk of network fracturing.
Coinex has announced the launch of futures set to decline on September 24. Bitcoin Cash backers will now be waiting for other exchanges to tell backup plans as well as move forward.
