Of course it will decrease! The importance of cryptocurrencies will grow in the future. Cryptocurrencies are the currencies of real free-market economies. Their future depends on the confidence they inspire consumers. The blockchain technology, though background technology, which would not be recognized that bitcoin did not gain popularity, has a bright perspective. As long as the transaction costs are lower than the cost of payment transactions, the rational behavior requires that we should encourage the utilization of cryptocurrencies in order to reduce the costs of the transactions when paying and to overcome the existence of an intermediary.

NO. Cryptocurrencies are NOT a recognized form of monetary exchange by any Government on the planet earth. “IF” they ever become so, every single one of those governments will immediately institute a taxation program to skim off as much profit as they do with standard taxation across the board in our universe today. At the end traditional financial system and crypto currency would stand side buy side . Where its legal

People need their funds, their value to be safe. People need to transact without possibility to have funds freezed or to be blacklisted by banks. Banks are executing people control and they can interfere with your holdings. For this reason it’s normal that bitcoin, which is censorship-resistant and neutral, gets seen as a safe alternative and a way to hold value in the safer way. It is also clear that banks, which are hands of governments and politicians, will do what ever they can to keep on having control and power. So i think that they will find a way to maintain their power in some way because from that, depends the power of politics and its corruption.

No, the role of the traditional financial system will not decline due to the recent development of cryptocurrencies, because, While cryptocurrencies may not pose a serious threat to traditional financial system, they may have the potential to be serious competition for traditional financial system in the longer term. This is similar to the kind of competition that financial institutions like(BANKS) faces today from Financial technology companies (FINTEC), including payment processors like PayPal.
Cryptocurrency now plays as a speculative role in the financial market. People may expect cryptocurrency to replace the role of some sovereign currency if those currencies do not satisfy the following roles (1)to preserve the value of hard working accumulation (2)to be a stable currency with important international currency (3)have some specific role in some specific transactions, such Blockchain for trading or for value-preservation. In the long run, I think cryptocurrencies may replace many not that good sovereign currencies if the above criteria do not meet.
I think that cryptocurrencies are the next generation of money. In fact, cryptocurrencies developed on blockchain platform are perfectly suitable for digital age. There are many problems with cryptocurrencies national and international regulation, but it seems to me that is process goes on. Many subjects already addopted cryptocurrencies and it's matter of time when cryptocurrencies will prevail over traditional money. Consequences? Consequences? Nobody knows exactly! It seems to me that we can expect new financial system very soon.

I do not think that will happen in the foreseeable period, perhaps in decades. This will be possible depending on the national economic system and its policies, developed countries may show some effects indeed to expand cryptocurrencies in its economy. But for developing and emerging economics that will take longer to reflect any changes.

The roles of the traditional system will drastically decline when the global framework for the adoption of cryptocurrencies are fully embraced. The traditional system is massively influential at the moment because it is a regulatory instrument of sanctions, trade and control reposited in some institutions of the State contrary to the decentralized systems that blockchain technology has brought with its new global money order. With the later, taxes, bonds, bills, revenues, social networking, distributions, investments etc can be deployed easily thereby eliminating and redefining the existing structures of institutional regulator or agents, for a secured and close to zero-cost regime that keeps throwing large weight behind the economic relevance of Cryptos that will eventually make world perfectly cashless.
I think that the short answer is yes, the concept of cryptocurrency is a threat to current banking systems. But, we are far far away from the days when the modern banking system would be replaced by crypto ATMs and transactions. Cryptocurrency is based on the distributed ledger technology powered by blockchain.
