Google has withdrawn some outsourced work from a Philippine call center whose staff participated in a Bitcoin fraud. PH stated that the firm moved some work outsourced from a Sykes Philippine branch in Cebu to a different supplier in the country.
Several posts on the internet proclaim that some of the outsourcing firm staff channeled over 60 million Piso (the Philippines' official currency) which is about $1.23 million of Google gift cards, and changed it to BTC. In response to the allegations, Sykes asserts that its staff did not comply with the company's code of conduct but did not comment on the infringement.
