Morgan Housel, a venture capitalist, in a recent podcast episode with Anthony Pompliano, the co-creator of Morgan creek digital, stated that some of the assertions supporting digital currency are not justifiable.
Housel says the government can have access to your cryptocurrencies contrary to peoples opinion that digital assets are untouchable by the law.
Housel acknowledging that statement is a hypothesis, stated that if the Government proceeds with crypto regulation, crypto holders would be imprisoned. It would definitely affect the price. In addition, the Government would take control and could do whatsoever with it.
Housel is fascinated by digital currencies, but he admitted that he owns no asset. Notwithstanding, this doesn't make him an anti-crypto.
The concept of digital currency was delusional ten years ago, but now it has become very popular. Despite the outbreak of Coronavirus, which caused economic mishaps, traditional financial players are beginning to join the crypto-community.
