Crypto Companies in the Netherlands have been given a Deadline by the Central Bank to Register their Companies

All the crypto companies in the Netherlands have been given 2 weeks to get their registration done. This ultimatum applies to firms that offer crypto services and fiat support.

The Act amending the EU's 4th Anti-money Laundering Directive was approved by the Senate on the 21st of April. This Act will be implemented very soon.

The De Nederlandsche Bank specified that companies should draft applications and outstanding payments would be required. The companies that do not submit their application by the 18th of May would not be allowed to continue operations. Also, those who submitted but continued operations without completing the DNB process might have their application suspended.

On the 10th of January 2020, the European Union's 5th AML was implemented. The DNB is obviously ready to play a leading role in the acceptance and implementation of digital assets as it is currently researching and developing its own digital currency to be used as a Europe-wide currency.
