We cannot disregard ripple blockchain technology and token use case but I don’t think Ripple is near the new bitcoin and can never be. From an investment standpoint, any token that will be compared to bitcoin must be bullish on the long term and ripple is far from that. Ripple lacks the volatility that bitcoin possess, which is why the price has been relatively stagnant over the years.
Ripple doesn’t stand a chance against bitcoin because it lacks growth consistency and adoption by investors.
