BTC is down by 3% The cryptocurrency market is still in red today, after yesterday's sharp correction caused by Tesla, with more green signs emerging among lesser altcoins. Yesterday, bitcoin price tested almost USD 47,000 before rising and even outpacing the USD 50,000 mark. The price was not able to maintain this amount and corrected lower, selling in a range below USD 50,000.
Multiple news causes combined to turn many bearish on bitcoin this week, putting it under a lot of pressure from sellers. Tesla's decision to stop accepting BTC payments, combined with reports of a US government inquiry into major exchange Binance, caused BTC/USD to plummet to lows of USD 46,000 before stabilizing.
Ethereum News
ETH corrected by more than 4%. The price of ethereum fell below USD 3,600 before the bulls emerged and raised it above USD 3,800. The price of ETH is currently hovering around USD 3,900.

1. Binance coin
BNB has fallen by 6% today, making it one of the worst competitors. When the buyers emerged, it even checked USD 545. The price is currently edging closer to USD 590.
2. Litecoin
At the USD 297 mark, LTC gained more buyers and jumped back above USD 300. It is now aiming for USD 320. The price has dropped by 4% in a single day.
3. Ripple
The price of XRP fell to USD 1.24 before recovering to USD 1.35, cutting its subsequent loss to less than 2%.
Conclusion
DOGE is one of the top scorers today, thanks to Coinbase and Elon Musk. It's up nearly 20% and is currently trading at about USD 0.53. In the meantime, ADA surged as well, gaining 8% in a single day and outpacing USD 1.85.
Other top-ten coins are down up to 6%, with the exception of DOGE and ADA, which are rising today. BCD, KLAY, AR, and HBAR, on the other hand, are up 19 percent to 35 percent, while OKB, AAVE, CRV, and GT are all down by at least 10%.
