There will be another big bounty coming with the upgrade from Stargate in other to close all gaps of vulnerability.
The great thing about the upgrade is that the roadmap in the white paper released by the cosmos will be completed, and the IBC protocol will be implemented for the first time. With these steps, cosmos connection with other blockchain networks will be more comfortable.Hackers and programmers can test updates to the Cosmos SDK, Tendermint Heart, Gaia, and Inter Blockchain Communication (IBC) codebases.

Major Updates:
- The bug bounty will last for three months.
- Double rewards are to make the robustness of the software increase by 100% before release.
- The Stargate testnet will be launched soon but upgrade and testing will come first.
Cosmos aims to find defects in more than a dozen different categories, including memory allocation flaws, information leaks, security bypasses, denial of service vectors, and stolen funds.
Once the bug bounty starts running till the last day of the year, there will be no maximum program reward. Precaution will be taken by the team to avert previous happenings where bugs are found in critical components.
