On April 10th, 2020, Binance announced it has extended fiat purchase of cryptocurrency to 5 more countries; Kenya, South Korea, Columbia, Peru and Kazakhstan. The extension means that citizens of these mentions will be able to transact BTC, ETH, BUSD, USDT, XRP accordingly.
Emerged Issues
The official statement — obviously a promising move towards its foreign customer base — comes shortly after one of its users claims that the exchange had unfairly restricted entry to its crypto account worth close to $1 million.
The complaint, presented as suspected misappropriation on behalf of the trade, was dismissed by Binance. This explained that the South Korean authorities had asked for the freezing of the user's properties because they reportedly earned 3,995 Ether (ETH) from a charge scheme. Subsequently, the sharing of mutual facts with Cointelegraph tends to refute the arguments of the customer.
Binance has confirmed its purchase of stalwart crypto data provider CoinMarketCap this month. The Chief Executive Officer of the Exchange, Changpeng Zhao, emphasized that the platform would continue to maintain its freedom under the conditions of the arrangement.
