The Defi sector has started seeing more institutional money, and YFI is one of the top beneficiaries.

There has been a significant increase in on-chain service, and YFI price has rebounded by over 95%.Analytics from IntoTheBlock revealed that transactions above 100,000 USD have surged by 282% from last week, with a transaction of about 134 million USD in 24 hours.

A one-week analysis shows that YFI tops the top performers' list, followed by yAxis, Loopring, and Akropolis.

YFI gain has been attributed to massive investment by Polychain Capital that has accumulated 470 YFI in the past few days. Polychain has been active in the DeFi, collecting major coins, including COMP, ZRX, and MKR.

A survey by Crypto.com showed that the majority of traditional investors are interested in DeFi. About 58% of the respondents feel they will be at a disadvantage if they fail to adopt DeFi, while 61% responded that their companies are on the verge of adopting DeFi. 61% of the respondents believe there is a need for more Defi regulations to keep the market going.

it’s important to note at the currency market, the U.S dollar remains king. According to the International Standards Organization, 90% of currency trading done globally involves the U.S. dollar, most crypto assets, virtually the most liquid commodities are priced in the U.S dollar not forgetting about 40% of the world’s debt is dominated in the greenback.

It seems that after the pandemic is over and the world begins to rebuild, an opening will be created for blockchain. Many of the old systems broke down during this crisis and will have to be reshaped in a different way, making them more resilient and cheap to run supply chains, information markets, medical systems, and finance.
