The proceeds from the sales would then be given to the designated charity of choice. The names of each of the nominees will have their names signed onto the description.
The reason for distributing NFTs in gift bags was to demonstrate what NFTs can be done, raise awareness for the charitable cause and pay tribute to the enormous accomplishments made by these nominees. They invite them to co-own the moment with the most inspiring digital artists and the audience who buy their works.
The Colon Cancer Foundation will take the benefits from this NFT auction. This is in honour of Black Panther Star, Chadwick Bossman, who died of Colon Cancer.
