Changpeng "CZ" Zhao, the CEO of Binance, is still the wealthiest person in the business, and owing to his fairly recent fortune, he is currently the 19th richest man on the planet. According to the publication, CZ's worth has been lowered from a reported $96 billion last year to the latest estimate of $65 billion. This still ranks him the wealthiest person in the crypto sector.
With a net worth of $24 billion, FTX founder and CEO Sam Bankman-Fried is the second richest person after "CZ." He's been called the "Crypto Robin Hood" since he's indicated frequently that he intends to give away a large chunk of his riches. But, with $24 billion in cash on hand, he hasn't been able to do that yet.

The European Commission seeks input from financial services experts on the prospective implementation of a digital euro.
On Tuesday, the European Commission announced that it would be gearing up to evaluate the CBDC based on the anticipated influence on financial service suppliers, retail consumers, and business groups. The board will discuss with experts problems in the field such as cross-border payments, security, the influence on the banking sector and financial safety, and use cases with cash payments.

According to the Consultation Paper, usage of the digitalized form of the euro and the banknote will entail co-legislation after the commission's suggestion. In addition, there may be a need to make changes to the EU's present regulatory framework to accommodate the digital euro and, most likely, the CBDC of those nations that do not use the euro.

The digital euro consultations will be undertaken in addition to those done by the European Central Bank, which has disclosed results from focus groups commissioned in September 2021. According to consumer and merchant opinion, the eventual launch of a digital euro might benefit from use cases both online and in actual retail shops. The European Commission will accept comments until June 14.
