5% of BTC Market Cap have Addresses with less than One Bitcoin

The latest analysis indicates that Bitcoin addresses of Wholecoiners, wallets having not less than one BTC, now make up for 95% crypto market capitalization shared amongst millions of customers balance under one Bitcoin.

The sum amount of Wholecoiners wallets has increased continuously yearly since 2009, regardless of Bitcoin's massive value increase.

On the 27th of November, Shultze-Kraft Rafael, the chief technology officer of Glassnode, posted on his Twitter account that over 800,000 wallets presently have no less than one BTC.

  • The number of these wallets crashed by over a hundred thousand in 2016.
  • Wholecoiners make up less than 0.5% of the entire bitcoin wallets holding some bitcoin

Following charts by Bit Info, Wholecoiners wallets represent Bitcoin valued at about $301 billion. However, the collective worth of Wholecoiners wallets with less than 1 BTC is $16 billion.

A linear graph shows little retracements in the record of Wholecoin, with the most significant decline happening in early 2016 when the number of wallets having 1 BTC or more crashed from 520,000 to 450,000, which is 13.5%.

Two years ago, Wholecoin experienced a downturn in growth, with the number of wallets fluctuating between about 720,000 and 690,000 for a year since December 2017.

Following a report by Into the Block, 32.95 million wallets presently own some worth, indicating that Wholecoiner represents just 0.47% of BTC addresses.
