The growing demand from AXA customers for alternative payment solutions with new technologies has propelled the company to accept payments in bitcoin.
Although the company is accepting bitcoin, but does not plan to keep it rather convert it to Swiss Francs with the assistance of Bitcoin Swisse.

The increasing demand of AXA customers to make payments through alternative means like bitcoin has compelled the company to accept payments in bitcoin.
It is now on record that AXA is the first all-lines insurer in Switzerland to accept bitcoin for bill payments.
In view of that, a study was conducted by AXA on individuals within the ages of 18-55 years on what they thought about cryptocurrencies. It was revealed that many had already started using cryptocurrencies and more are eager to invest. The level of accelerated demand and interest for Cryptocurrencies was as a result of the covid-19 pandemic.
In the future AXA customers will witness a new payment method on bills that will be sent through their emails and via invoice.inappay.ch/axa, in order words permitting a customer to make payments in bitcoin on a desktop computer or smartphone.
In addition, customers who receive their bills by post not directly on Myaxa can equally use the new option to make premium payments.
There has been a press release from the head of open innovation AXA Switzerland, Claudia Bienentreu on the relevance of the new technology and the great role it has played ever since the company responded to the demands of it's clients.

AXA has revealed that other methods of payments like TWINT will soon be introduced, and that the range of payment platforms can be easily assessed on the web, hence Myaxa app will continue to flourish.
