Bitmain has deferred the delivery of BTC mining equipment by three months. This is due to the deepening conflict between the founders of the firm.
The firm via their WeChat account announced that clients whose equipment were meant to be delivered in July would have their order delayed till October.
The machine is usually requested for three months before delivery, which means that the delayed deliveries might have been requested since February or March, which means the concerned BTC miners will have to wait for about six months.
The firm has stated that the delay in delivery time is due to administrative instability. The faction owned by Jihan is currently handling the firm's account on WeChat.
The firm has offered two compensation options to its clients for the delay in the machines' delivery. The first option is for clients to send a letter or mail the company asking that their orders are delivered quickly. If by the end of sixty days of writing the company and their orders are yet to be delivered, clients can then request for a refund.
While the second option relates to cash tickets or vouchers, these tickets can be used as payments for future requests.
